What a pleasure to announce that professional soprano Deborah Norman will please us again with her amazing performance.
Whilst studying at the Royal College of Music, Sheffield-born Deborah won the Eva Turner Opera Prize and various song prizes.
Deborah made her professional debut in 2000 as Maria in West Side Story at La Scala, Milan, and the Ljubljana Festival. In 2001 she made her debut at Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, singing Chloe in The Queen of Spades. Other roles include both Mimi and Musetta in separate productions of La Boheme for Welsh National Opera, Alcibiades in La Liberta Contenta by Steffani at the Barber Institute, Birmingham, Aminta in Il Re Pastore for The Classical Opera Company and Juanita in Opera North’s production of Weill’s Arms and the Cow.
Many more concert performances followed including the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sir Simon Rattle, opera galas at Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow and Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, a Gilbert & Sullivan Gala with the Ulster Orchestra, and a concert tour of Wales with the Orchestra of the Welsh National Opera, just to give you an idea…
Enjoy a delicious 3 course meal, with two amazing performance in between courses, a perfect harmony between delicious food and beautiful music! The first performance starts at around 18:30 after the starters, followed by the main course, then the second performance, and the evening is rounded off with desserts.
